I have bought a DSLR. Before buying........
Many questions came to my mind whether to buy a point and shoot or a DSLR.
As I have some experience in point and shoot with my MotoG mobile I decided to go for DSLR and also point and shoot don't have manual controls. So a DSLR is what I required.
Now the question is specs in a DSLR.
This involves lot of confusion.
Features, megapixel, lens, shutter speed, exposure, flash, focus and many and many totally confused..!
Now there r 3 categories in photography.
Beginner
Moderate
Professional
Obviously I am a beginner.
I decided to buy one of Nikon or Canon.
Canon and Nikon are like Pepsi and Coca-Cola both are big companies and compete each other. Searched many forums many blogs unable to decide as both are tie. Some of the points I remember....
For a beginner:
Canon:
Gives touch screen
Give two lens for given budget 18-55mm 55-250mm
Nikon:
More features than Canon but only one lens 18-55mm
No touch screen.
Selfy friendly display
I have wish listed two models with my budget(25k) Nikon d5200 or Canon 1200d.
I am really confused between both and finally decided to go for Nikon d5200
Reasons:
Selfy Friendly display is the main reason.
More features are present compared to Canon.
First feature I learnt is Shutter speed.
I kept a goal my self to take a photo of wings of a fan when it is "ON".
Took the first photo with 1/400 and got the photo which is rotating....I kept on increasing the shutter speed and finally made the fan "STOP" in my camera.
So the shutter speed is used to take clicks of fast moving objects...!
Here comes the difference between a DSLR and a point and shoot.
Using point and shoot we can't alter the Shutter speed as it was pre programmed...!
